RIM/Blackberry Installation: When trying to install IntelliGolf onto the Blackberry, if you get the message "No applications designed for your device were found" or "The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator." please visit click here for the solution.
Blackberry 8300- and 8800-series GPS: The IntelliGolf Eagle edition for the Blackberry version 9.01 (or higher) works great with the embedded GPS chip in BB 8300- and 8800-series (and 8130). As such, if you are running IntelliGolf version 8.x you will want to upgrade to version 9.x by clicking here. Note: Verizon appears to have limited access to the GPS chip in the BB 8830. As you will see, there are a lot of customers upset with this unfortunate practice. Please click here for more information.
RIM/Blackberry version 4.2.1 OS (or higher) required: Version 4.2.1 (or higher) of RIM's operating system for the Blackberry is required to run IntelliGolf properly. As such, if you purchased your Blackberry over 90 days ago, you should download and install RIM's latest Desktop and Device software before installing any 3rd-party applications (e.g. IntelliGolf). Motorola Q 9c/h/m and Samsung Blackjack II GPS: The IntelliGolf Eagle edition version 9.0 (or higher) for Windows Mobile-based Smartphones works great with the embedded GPS chip in the Samsung Blackjack II and the Motorola Q 9c/h/m (excluding Verizon Q 9c customers - please click here and read the GPS info about 2/3rds of the way down the article). The COM port issue that both companies products previously exhibited has been overcome in IntelliGolf version 9.x. For more on these phone's previous COM Port issue, please click here. As such, if you are running IntelliGolf version 8.x you will want to upgrade to version 9.x by clicking here.
Vista and Windows Mobile synchronization issue:If you running the Windows Vista operating system and Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0 on your Windows Mobile-based smartphone and are having synchronization issues, please click here for more information on how to solve this issue.
Nokia N95 GPS: The IntelliGolf Eagle OTA edition for Nokia-based smartphones version 9.01 (or higher) works great with the embedded GPS chip in Nokia's N95. As such, if you are running IntelliGolf version 8.x you will want to upgrade to version 9.x by clicking here.
Cingular / Nokia E62: If you install IntelliGolf onto a Cingular brand (only) of Nokia E62 smartphones you may get at "authorization failed" notice. That is because Cingular has implemented a security scheme on the E62 that only allows Cingular certified applications to be installed on the Cingular brand E62's. IntelliGolf will install and run fine on all other Nokia E62 (non-Cingular) based phones.
Nokia E61/E62/E70: In "decimal" point designated fields (e.g. Handicap Index, Wagering amount, etc), Nokia's E61/E62/E70 smartphones do not recognize the entry of decimal points. This issue has been reported to Nokia and acknowledged by Nokia. Until this issue is fixed by Nokia, you will need to enter integer numbers into these IntelliGolf fields.
Error Message - "An invalid database ID has been detected in your IntelliGolf database.": Please click here for the fix to this issue.
